Editorial policy
How we research, review and correct what we publish.
How we research
- Every article follows the same seven-part structure, from what the problem is to the Ayurvedic view.
- Every figure links to its source. We prefer systematic reviews, clinical guidelines and randomised trials, and we say when evidence is limited.
- Classical Ayurvedic ideas are cited to their texts and described as traditional frameworks, not as medical diagnoses.
How we review
- A registered medical doctor (MBBS or MD) checks the science.
- A registered BAMS physician checks the Ayurveda, including herbs and their safety notes.
- Every article shows who reviewed it and when, and a last-updated date. We re-review every article at least once a year.
- Articles are not published until both reviews are complete.
Words we do not use
Our publishing system checks every article for risky claims, such as promises of certain results or of being free of all side effects, and blocks publishing until an editor has reviewed them.
Corrections
If you spot an error, write to support@ayur.one. We review every report, correct mistakes promptly, and note significant corrections at the end of the article.
